Joss Whedon receives the Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award in Cultural Humanism at Harvard University’s Memorial Church:

“Faith is something we have to embrace. Faith in God mean believing absolutely in something with no proof whatsoever. Faith in humanity means believing absolutely in something which has a huge amount of proof to the contrary. We are the true believers!”

    Joss is an athiest (sp), but ther are bad people that beleive in GOD and good people that don’t. I think he is a good person that simply (or not so simply) has the wrong thoughts on GOD and the ‘verse.
    Don’t know how old this thread is, can’t even read previous posts, don’t even know if you’ll see this
    Just my 2 cents,you did ask for discussion

    I agree with your comment – belief (or not) in God is not an indication of “goodness” (or badness). I mean – Satan believes in God! ;)
