i’m 16, and i think that the show is great. no matter what the problem is he always finds a way to help resolve it.
If you look at life the way i do there is always problems. no matter where you look, it is just the reason someone will take the time to listen to us, if we didnt have that then were would we be in life, i know were. pulling our hair out and screaming at each other all of the time.
even though jeremy might not get things right all of the time he trys after all he is only human like all of us and who the hell is perfect i no that im not. so thank your friends for listening to you when you needed them to and that is all he is doing listening and trying to resove problems that people have.

I think you make a valid point, Chrissy. It is essential to have people to talk to – we live in interesting times. Communication in whatever form is the only way to address issues we have.

That said, Jeremy Kyle does not do what he does for altruistic reasons. If he did, he would not be doing his job on TV… He is a television presenter and as such, his motives are to get ratings – that is what TV is for! I would be very interested to see how the people on these programmes are getting on a couple of months down the line.

There is nothing therapeutic about programmes of that type – a trained counsellor does not pour judgement on their patients, call them names or play them off against each other. Nor do they encourage them to address complex and extremely sensitive issues in front of who might be the main cause of the problem and an audience of spectators!

  10. Emma says:

  11. BigAl says:

    What we’re you on for?

I’m only asking because I didn’t get a chance to watch recently and I’m genuinely interested.

Also, and I’m not being funny here, what prompted you to contact the show? Had other avenues of help failed?

  12. Emma says:

my teenage son had been arrested and into things he shouldnt be into….I had contacted everyone else and all had faild and got no where and so i contacted the show to see if they could help in any way

I like Kyle, he looks at thing like a bloke and calls it like he sees it. He tells the chavs and consel house arss-holes what most of us think of them.If I had to face the kind of scum he looks at most days I would end up punching a few of them out.

  18. Screwloose91 says:

I love watching the show when I am not needed at work. He does get in the faces of some of the guests, but he also puts them in their places. Take for example the arrogant kid who had got his girlfriend pregnant but didn’t care. He laid into the pratt and rightly so. I have been tempted to write to the show myself but have some nasty skeletons I would rather keep in the cupboard. then again my parents might see their son for what he really is, and realise why I hate him so much and resent the emotional favouritism in his favour!

  19. edward says:

O give me a break! he is a supercilious sanctimonious bastard and deserves to rot in hell! ooh my name is Jeremy Kyle and I’m a lexical genius who must always remember to keep my most brilliant mind under control, lest I unleashed the full force of My mid-morning commonsense intellect on you mere mortals, causing our brains to melt in the radiance of such wit and intelligence.

I wish I was clever enough to shout at drunks.
