Thou Shalt Always Kill

Check out the song (and interview) from Dan Le Sac & Scroobius Pip, which I found over at Phil Crissman’s site – a brilliant piece of rhetoric, and funny too :)

(Recent links is broken at the moment, otherwise this may have just been squandered in there)

NB: The ‘kill’ in the title refers to the phrase ‘that really kills’ rather than the act of murder, in case you were worried….

  1. Glad you liked it; I thought it was pretty cool, quite creative. There were a few things I had to look up (I didn’t know what Holly Oaks was, for example — it looks like I was not missing much), and I wasn’t sure what was meant by “thou shalt not quote me happy”. I can’t help wondering if there’s some more UK-specific pop culture that went over my head.

Quite possibly :) “Quote me happy” is a slogan from an insurance company, the idea being that you phone them up and they “quote you happy” by offering you cheaper insurance.
