Too Damn Early

Yeah, it’s 8:30 ish on a Sunday morning and, against all odds, I’m actually up and about.

Other than actually being able to make it to church for a change rather that staying under the wonderfully warm duvet this is just crazy.

Still, being up and about this early means I can actually enjoy a breakfast on a Sunday (a rare thing indeed) and get as much out of the day before the hell of going back to work on Monday.

Meh.

And as the wife is disappearing up to her parents for a couple of days I can potter about aimlessly, play some computer games, get some bass practice in and some writing finished.  Oh, and paint some miniatures that are cluttering up the place.  That’d be a good start.

I very nearly had the same experience today… but 09:00 became 12:00 in what seemed like much less than a second after hitting snooze one too many times. Ah well, there’s always next week.

In light of the defamatory material about me on your site and its availability to a worldwide audience, I have sought legal advice. My legal adviser will issue a writ, if this material is not removed from your site within 48 hours,
    Yours faithfully,
    Sean

I had to search to find this “defamatory material” – it’s a single post based on a personal opinion. I doubt very much that any legal advisor would touch it with a barge pole. There is a comment which also mentions you, but, as you will have seen in recent press, blog owners cannot be held legally responsible for the comments of their commentors.

    ahem…
    bwahahahahaha
Should I end this statement with a comma?,

I hereby disassociate myself from this website, BigAl, mrBen and especially that baboon-fondling punk Guy Incognito. You are all very bad people. I can’t believe that you didn’t check what comments were being made 8 months and 13 days after your initial post.

I also can’t believe that typing “Sean Urquhart” into Google brings up this site first. Doesn’t Sean Urquhart at Cornell University deserve to be top? Or Sean Urquhart, M.D at the St Jospeh Regional Medical Center? Or Sean Urquhart at The Portland Players? There’s a Captain Sean Urquhart at some Pirates of the Caribbean RP forum that looks suspiciously like Billy Boyd. Does Billy Boyd know about this?

I’d start a competition to see who can guess which Sean Urquhart is the JediMoose Sean Urquhart, but I’m disassociating myself from this place.

And in the interests of fairness, the only Seans I know are my cousin Sean, my friend Sean the pastor, Sean Astin and Sean Bean.

I see this is still here. My Mrs is a fiscal and if this crap ain’t gone, I will sue.

  7. Sean says:

    Christianity….my hole!

  8. BigAl says:

Still throwing about legal threats I see. I thought we had sorted all this out last time.

  9. The length says:

Anyone else have any strange Sean encounters?

  10. The length says:

I remember the time he came into my work and threatened me ( I have witnesses so he can dispute all he wants). I wonder what other tales of this mans exploits exist out in the realms of chaos.

  11. Cyrano de Bergerac says:

I remember going on a train journey with Sean

  12. MadKev says:

    From The Realms of Chaos:
He doesn’t have a missus. He’s elsewhere on the net bleating on about ‘a painful separation’ or some such crap.
And she ain’t no fiscal either. Last I heard she was a Classroom Assistant or something.
Anyone seen the video of his ‘band’? Him and some other bloke being ‘weird’ and mumbling. It’s effing hilarious!
Oh and he’s still ‘playing’ the same bass line he was 20 odd years ago.

I’d love to know if this is my long lost friend, Sean? I had a mate up in Scotland who had the same name. He was a nice lad too, so I’m surprised to see this venom spouted his way. Lost his wife and all, a fair few of his friends died as well as his father, so this is even sadder to see. I see there’s pseudonyms galore to hide behind which speaks volumes, cowards to a man as well as cruel. Shameful stuff as this is the 1st entry on Google, poor lad must be really upset to still see this.

  14. Delcroix says:

Looks like Sean had a blog until he went to Finland at the start of September. Seemed to blog quite regularly about how bad his life is and other stuff of a self hating nature.
And Marc, looks like you’ve been suckered by his ‘victimhood’.
His wife isn’t dead. And his friends got pissed off by his behaviour toward them. THAT’S why he has none. He did once.
    Enough said.

  15. Jason says:

Yeh, unfortunately a freeloader and very aggressive – bad combo. We’re all well rid of him. He should learn to calm down and contribute.
