Turning 31

So yesterday was my 31st birthday.

Ruthy got me a few nice surprises but not, which she said she would get, a bucket, spade, paddling pool and a swingball.

Oh well, you can’t win them all.

The afternoon flew in with a trip to the CineWorld to see Nacho Libre which was a marvelous film. Well worth a watch even if you don’t like Jack Black, who isn’t to everyone’s taste.

I (finally) picked up a second HHD (160 Gb!) which is getting a shiny Ubuntu installation on Wednesday evening, a replacement DVD Rewriter and a system fan.

Oh, and Ruthy baked a cake.

Lovely.

    Happy birthday :)

    Glad to hear your birthday was great fun, but sorry you never got the swingball you wanted. Maybe you’ll fare better with Santa on that one.

    You kept that a bit quiet!! Hope you had a good birthday and that the Ubuntu install goes ok. I’m currently doing an install onto my other work PC to see if I can get a linux system that will allow me to test the Unix version of our app.
