I don’t know whether anyone here is taking me up on the May Challenge, but I thought it was worth a link to this article on “Smart formatting for better compatibility between OpenOffice.org and Microsoft Office“. Essentially it’s about using text styles/formatting so that when you move documents between office suites you get the best results. Using styles is, generally, better practice too, especially iif you are doing any DTP work.
