Just to give you a little bit on info outright, this site is powered by WordPress and the Scary Little theme. Moo.fx is used for javascript transitions, and it all snuggles up nicely in a MySQL bed.

I’ve got to admit - I was scared of CVS. For the unitiated, CVS is a way for a group of people to work on the same piece of code (think: same text file) at the same time, and then merge it all together into the completed work. I think I probably used CVS only once in the last 5 years - to download the source for Cedega a couple of years ago.

Getting involved with Jokosher meant that I had to get involved with a versioning system, but in this case it wasn’t CVS, but Subversion. Now - I had heard lots of great reports from people about Subversion, but I think some of my fear carried across from CVS. However, Subversion has, so far, been a joy to use. It’s really simple to update my copy of the code, and to add my changes, and to deal with any conflicts that occur. It’s great, it really is.

(Hmmm - this is a bit of a boring post, sorry. Only 22 posts left ’til the end of Lent…..)
