Well, it’s that time of the year when we are yet again subjected to the horrors of Celebrity Big Brother.
Oh, the joys.
It’s the current hot topic here in the office and probably will be until it’s back in it’s coffin for another year with a stake through its cold, lifeless heart.
Maybe, I just don’t get it. Perhaps if I watched some of it.
Yeah, that’s it. If I watch it all, and the review shows and all the rest of the second rate shows associated with it maybe I’ll understand why it has such a hypnotic effect on people.
It’s not exactly hard to miss, after all. Channel 4 practically clear their schedule for the traditional blanket coverage, especially with E4 becoming the Big Brother live channel.
So that’s the plan then.
I’ll watch all of it, idly pissing away my free time on it.
And then, once it’s all over, I’ll start taking heroin or cocaine.
I don’t get that either but, like Big Brother, maybe it’s just misunderstood.
