Last episode of Doctor Who on Saturday and it was a belter. A full review when I get the dvd…

I think I actually cried once or twice. (I have a lot of emotional investment in the series.)

I’m going to miss Christopher Eccleston and the Doctor and I’m sure that the new guy, David Tennant, will do a fine job in filling his shoes.

The bummer is waiting for the boxed set in November, the Christmas special and the new series next year. Time to dig out all the Doctor Who novels, methinks…

Well, that’s the move done. Phew.

Many thanks to mrBen, Guy Incognito, Supergingerman, Cheezy, Lorna and especially Allen (the ginga ninja) for providing a van at the last minute!

Most of the guff we own has now been sorted away and it remains that we get a few more bookcases for the last of the clutter.

The phone was sorted this afternoon and sometime in the next few weeks we’ll sort out the broadband.

Stress? What stress? :)

Well - our flat is officially on the market, offers over £75,000. Sign outside the front door and everything. The schedule should be ready by the middle of this week.

[edit]And we have our first viewing today :) [/edit]

I still can’t quite believe it’s all happening; even though it’s far from over, and there are a whole load of hurdles to be jumped, it’s just all been incredible - a real feeling that God has done this for us, and exceeded my expectations by such a vast margin; far beyond what I dreamed for this year, let alone what I deserved.

By the time we are sitting in our new flat, it’s going to be close on 5 years to the day that I sat not 500 yards from it, in the living room of our rented flat on Squire St and cried over Alan’s shoulder because I could not see out of the financial mire that we had managed to get into, mostly through things that were not our fault. It all seemed so hopeless. Miracles do happen.
